Dr. Kathleen Monahan, Associate Professor, and Director of the Family Violence Education and Research Center has been appointed for a three year term as a consulting editor for The Journal of Social Work. Consulting editors and the editorial board are the primary reviewers for manuscripts submitted to Social Work and as such they play a vital role in assuring the journal’s articles are content-rich, methodologically sound and of high quality. The journal also seeks a balance of interests and knowledge, geographic location, gender, and ethnicity.
